Wildlife conservation is at the heart of everything we do here at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. We are thrilled to be able to provide a home for two rescued baby beavers and wecome their amazing contribution to the sanctuary's waterside woodland, improving water pollution, biodiversity counts, and bringing landscape changes, introducing in a vast variety of wildlife, and even combatting climate change.
The beavers are in their very own Beaver Nursery here at the sanctuary, and will move to the large 5km2 natural habitat named Secret Creek behind the nursery once they are grown and ready. We need your help to ensure we can provide expert care to the rescued girls, carry out the vital ecological projects and introduce an exciting visitors centre. The centre will provide engaging educational content for visitors to learn about these amazing animals, and returning guests will see landscape changes, and can even spot the beaver sisters hard at work.
