If the UK’s declining songbird population is to stand any chance of a reversal, we must all continue to engage, inform and educate the public about the need for action. To help achieve this, we have taken on Communications Experts to publicise our research, to raise the profile of the Charity, and to convey how scientific evidence must convince governments (and charities) to implement urgent changes.
Already, our voice has grown louder thanks to interviews with the BBC and conversations with national newspapers about the early findings of the University of Exeter research into cat predation.
WE MUST KEEP UP THIS MOMENTUM.
Thank you to all the wonderful pledges you have given so far! Your kindness has secured enough basic funding to keep SongBird Survival running for the foreseeable future. We still need to find over £150,000 to ensure SongBird Survival continues as your independent voice for songbirds.
Every gift, from £5 per month or whatever you can afford, will be put to good use in the fight to save our dawn chorus for future generations.
If you, alongside these wonderful donors, are also willing to make an ongoing commitment, this will enable SongBird Survival to move forward and make a greater impact. Make your ongoing commitment to help now and you can make all the difference to the future of UK songbirds.
