Gift Aid

Would you like to Gift Aid your donation? Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows your donations to be more tax effective. It means that for every £1 you donate to the Huntington’s Disease Association we can claim an extra 25p so £10 turns into £12.50, £50 turns into £62.50 - all at no extra cost to you!

If you have answered 'yes' above, you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and and you wish to join the Gift Aid Scheme. You understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference. You are happy for us to treat as Gift Aid donations all qualifying gifts of money made today, in the last four years and in the future to the Huntington's Disease Association, Charity no. 296453, until you notify us otherwise.

Notes: 1. You can cancel this Declaration at any time by notifying the Huntington's Disease Association 2. If, in the future, your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you can cancel your Declaration. 3. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self-Assessment Tax Return. 4. If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, ask the Huntington's Disease Association or refer to help sheet IR65 on the HMRC website (www.hmrc.gov.uk). 5. Please notify the Huntington's Disease Association if you change your name or address or your circumstances change by emailing us at info@hda.org.uk.
