Adoption UK will process and retain your personal data in full compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Please sign below to give your consent to Adoption storing your personal information and contacting you as described:
It is necessary for Adoption UK to input and store our members’ personal data on an electronic record system. This allows us to tailor and personalise your membership and to contact you via letter, email or telephone with news and information in relation to your membership, adoption, adoption support and Adoption UK services, events and activities. Our policy is to store only the minimum amount of information necessary for us to fully support your membership and respond to your enquiries. All the information you supply will be under the general control of Adoption UK and specifically, the Chief Executive, who can be contacted at our head office. All members of staff and Community Coordinators (and other parties working on behalf of Adoption UK) are bound by a confidentiality agreement. No information about you will ever be passed on to a third party without your consent. At any time, you may request to see a copy of the records that we hold about you. You retain the right, at any time, to have the information that we hold about you permanently removed from our records; you may do this by contacting us at membership@adoptionuk.org.uk.
I/We apply to be a member of Adoption UK. To the best of my/our knowledge and belief the information on this form is true in all respects.
I/We give consent for Adoption UK to retain and use my/our personal data in order to provide the membership benefits relevant to my/our type of membership and to keep me/us up to date with the latest Adoption UK news and information, about activities and events, new publications and relevant services (even if my membership lapses).
