Fundraising and Donations

All donations are made to YMCA Yorkshire Coast which is affiliated with YMCA England and Wales, this means your donation is used to support local people across the coast, we don't receive any funding from the national YMCA and your donation is used here in your area.

Although affiliated with a national body we don’t receive any regular national or regional funding. We have to raise every penny to run our activities. We always try to run our activities at the lowest cost possible, including offering many free places.
Your fundraising and donations allow us to continue providing services to the community.
We rely on donations to provide our service and to stay open. Your donation makes a real difference to the community of Scarborough.
